  • Hydrocortisone: The anti-inflammatory properties of hydrocortisone is well established. Patients undergoing medium to deep chemical peels are susceptible to post- inflammatory hyperpigmentation that can diminish the result of the peel. Using topical hydrocortisone for the first 48 hours can be beneficial in avoiding this complication.
